The image to the right consists of three bottles that have a sculpted faces on the surface of. This is a new development that spawned after the shrunken head idea. One of these bottles include a reticello technique that was invented by the italian glass masters.
The technque that was used for obin's staff is called a 'air twist' stem. Traditionally this technque is used for wine glasses in the 19th centry in Britain . Because of this sunderland glass works used to in and export these glasses to and from europe.
